In a hugely successful 2022/2023 season, Wallasey managed a clean sweep of the Wirral League with our teams picking up the top spot in the three Wirral divisions.

Wallasey 5, captained by Felix Lefeuvre, were the first to set the ball rolling, setting the standard with five wins on the trot and clinching the Division 3 with a game to spare. Wallasey 4, captained by Alan Kelly, were next up, and a last gasp draw in their penultimate matchup against rivals Chester D proved crucial as they followed it up with a win against Buckley/Mold to take the Division 2 title. In doing so they were also the only team in the league to finish the season unbeaten. The best was saved for last though, as, having registered 4.5/6, Phil Brine's Wallasey 1 endured a nervous wait to see if Hoylake would overtake them in the final game of the season. However, their 3-2 win over Northwich meant that Wallasey 1 took home the Division 1 crown on board difference and completed the silverware.
